Connecting the D-300 directly to the computer via the adapter allows me to view only the first 'event' recorded and then loops to the beginning ad infinitum. Downloading from the RAM disc to the HDD for editing produces files as 'DV_RTV' and will not allow editing.

Please stick with me on this because I took delivery of my first iMac and hope to do better after installing the Mac part of the Panasonic installation disc.
